I don't know about their dedicated server but I colocate with them for over a year now.. and I've been happy with them. Their support was great, specially their night support.
One of my server had a bad hard drive and need to be replace. I called their support in the evening.. and they have the hard drive replace with fresh OS and within few hours I was back online again. They stayed with me until about 3 am PST that night.
But I think some people had a bad experience with them .. hehe.. so I don't know. I guess it depends on which person you talk to. .. :)

Rarely do we need to email support, once every few months for this or that, but many times the messages go unanswered. Networks are usually good, but we've been experiencing REALLY BAD network issues since the last week of May (about three weeks now). Unfortunately, we've not been able to get any kind of response from their support regarding the issue. Calling is your best bet and the nighttime support seems to be more responsive and knowedgleable.

Skynetweb certainly seems to have trouble understanding what "support" means. There have been times when they simply haven't answered their phones for hours on end. They also don't seem to understand the concept of *shutting down* a machine prior to yanking the power cable; a number of times now when they've been upgrading a server I've found that the system was not shut down properly.
I could go on, but I don't think I have to; stay away from them.

I’m starting to look at Dialtone. I'll probably end up moving my systems there, as they seem to have a stealer record when it comes to support related issues. What's really sad, support is something I VERY RARELY need. But when there's an ongoing network issue inside the NOC, and your customers start complaining (to us) daily because they're unable to pass solid packets, I'd really like the courteously/respect of at least a reply regarding what’s being done to address the issue(s) -but usually the response is notta.

I have 2 servers at Dialtone and it has been good from their network connectivity to their support although I rarely need them, If you ask for Roland he may get you a good deal :D
Good choice!

Can I make a suggestion?
VO.
Great support 24/7.. and I test it.. it's real 24/7.
Their server are in the Verio's NOC.
I have been very happy with skynetweb. I find it strange from posts on this thread, but I have experienced nothing but superior support from them. They actually know what they are talking about, as opposed to DI's staff who we perviously had a server with.

I use them and I'm very happy. The few times I used their support, I got a useful answer within one hour and they satisfied all my wishes. The speed is good for me (from europe).
I can recommend them.
