Hi, I was wondering if there are any readily avaliable Terms of Service which are freely avaliable to modify, I don't exactly know where start and would not want to miss any details out.
Thanks,
Chris

Thanks, Chris ANMMark 03-03-2003, 11:03 AM Chris, If you are a reseller, the best place to get your TOS is from your upstream. Their TOS will cover everything that they allow on the servers, etc.... UH-Matt 03-03-2003, 11:04 AM Take a look at other hosting companies TOS. Make a list of headings you want to cover. Then consider each of these headings one by one - its not so hard to do, just make sure you are OVER careful with your terms rather than leaving yourself uncovered with anything. Kaliber 03-04-2003, 07:36 AM Thanks :) pattox 03-04-2003, 07:42 AM Juct look over several other companys TOS and take inserts from others into yours so you'll only insert exactly what applies to you. SoftWareRevue 03-04-2003, 07:43 AM You're welcome to use ours as a guide. Just run it past an attorney so that it conforms with your location. euselect 03-04-2003, 08:00 AM Hi guys I am after a new set of terms and conditions too. I am not a reseller so surely i cannot copy someone elses unless I have there permission ? Will any one 'lend' me there T&C's ? Obviously it needs to be tailored for my own needs but i really dont want to write one from scratch Neil SoftWareRevue 03-04-2003, 08:02 AM We allow anyone to use ours. Of course you would want to make sure it conforms to your location and your upstream provider. euselect 03-04-2003, 08:43 AM Great ! What is the url of your site ? ( apologies if I missed it ) neil SoftWareRevue 03-04-2003, 08:46 AM I can't give it to you. It would be against the rules of the forum. We've actually included within our terms that they are free to use. Kaliber 03-04-2003, 07:58 PM Thank you very much SoftWareRevue! Hopefully I can post the URL, its here: http://getmehosted.com/terms.html Woofcat 03-04-2003, 09:17 PM lol never seen a tos under a viral license before... |
