Having now rec'd a couple of these, I admit that I can't quite understand what the purpose of this really is, other than to confirm an email address for future SPAMMING?

Has anyone ever seen a copy of this CD ROM Who's Who of the internet *LOL*....??

I'm afraid that my 'contributions' to date could not be considered meritorious in any way.... so I'm curious if anyone knows what's going on here... if anything.. :)

There is an html form tacked on blah, blah, blah..

I think, when you give out the information for a free listing on a garbage directory, your information will be sold to others.

I don't think they may just really add you to the CD and then sell the CD to others, which mean your info are sold.

I get that one myself on occasion. My guess is your information will end up on one of those 'get a million addresses for $99' CD's people seem to try and sell to others these days.

I think anytime someone junkmails you asking for your contact details is a pretty big sign not to give them anything...

Ugh! Ive received tons of those for hostcaters starting longggg ago!!
They even called me on the phone about it and its a sales thing. Its been SO long I dont remember the specifics about it though.:o
