I'm new at web-hosting and I've been looking around and would be greatly appreciative if I can
get some help. My site is no bigger than 2mb.... I'd liek to have about up to 10mb of space...
Also I get about 5000 visitors per month and I have lots of graphics and stuff... So I'd like High
Bandwidth to be on the safe side... Right now I'm usign this 5mb space I get with my ISP.... I
want to have a perm web page for my page.. rather this redirection I have right now.... $$ is a
big deal... I saw this ite... www.hostica.com has anyone dealt with this before? What sutff
should I worry about then looking for web-hosts? Thanx

First lesson: Stay away from people that offer unlimited bandwith and/or unlimited space. :)

ok... thats wat i've picked up from people... i dont know how mcuh bandwidth i'll need.. wont be that much... my site total size right now is 2mb approx... get about 2000 hits per month... slowly growing... so i'm guessing 5gig would be more than enough???

5 Gig is way too much. Actually few sites use over 1 Gig. In your case I think you won't use more than 100-200MB per month, so 1 Gig is plenty for you.

If your site grows, so does your plan :)

Not to sound ungrateful or rude... but whats the catch? Form what I have learned from this forum a level 1 account it what would suit me perfect... so i'll have to admit i am intrigued....

I occasionally give away "complimentary accounts." They are usually for web designers and others that can provide referrals but in your case I just want to see another UF site on the web.

I would appreciate a "Hosted by i2host" link but I won't require it.

Its been over a month since I first asked about a host and thanx to all of your help I got one. I thought I'd give everyone an update on how things are going. They are going GREAT!!!! My host www.i2host.com has been great! I've had no problems with them and am glad that I'm with them! So in case someone is looking for a host after 1 month things are still going great... Thanx
