Hi, I need an host for my website which will get an estimated 600gb a month in bandwitch costs. This is because the site is an adult entertainment site, it is likely also that when short movies are on the site that the bandwitch will go up even further. I reside in that United Kingdom but whoever offers the cheapest host, with the best support, good profile of past customers and can prove they can easilt manage that level of traffic will get my business. I have already had some quotes already but stumbled acorss this forum and was very interested in the "unlimited bandwitch" discussion and i seen quite a few interesting views put across from people in the industry so now i am asking for people to make offers to host the site. Main requirements below:

* 600gb bandwitch per month (expandable if needed)
* 400mb hard drive space MIN
* 99% uptime at least
* Profile of other high bandwitch customers prefered
* E-mail and the rest of the s**t.

Go dedicated or share a dedicated box with someone.

No shared host in their right mind would let you use 600GB+/month........

I wouldnt suggest going with an unlimited bandwidth host, mostly because you are adult entertainment. Now, I dont know too much about adult entertainment, but I know that it takes alot of bandwidth and server resources up. For the amount of money you guys make, I suggest go with a full blown dedicated server. I know rackspace.com has an awsome deal with real video/audio channels for $100/month per 10 channels. They also have some really good support/uptime. Now, there are alot of hosting companies out there that can also help you in a dedicated server. I know a really good dedicated server host of DT Web Works. Dont know about DT's streaming feeds, but you can email them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not believe that rackshack allow you to host adult material. In fact, on their web site they state that they can be so cheap because "we do not host adult content".

I thought a bandwitch was something they sell at the webhosts' snack bar.

avara is NOT talking about RackShack but RackSpace.com and I believe they host sites with adult material.

Yeah, I know Rackspace allows any material on the servers. But, they are also very expensive to deal with and the transfer alone will cost you abou $3.00 a gig.
