Between Monday evening and this afternoon (May 30) it seems that there were some problems in UK with bt.net

Everything was dead.

Does anybody know which problems they had ?

There was an outage at BT.net, which is fasthosts.co.uk IP provider, they were completly down for (I believe) around 31 hours, the reason so many people noticed is fasthosts host quite a few 1000 (Im sure someone will give me an accurate (ish) figure) websites, so a lot were down.

Seems to be a more or less parallel thread (and the other one had more recent posts. See:

You are right, but I think that the problem was mainly at bt.net and/or btignite.com.

I am not with fasthosts actually.
