There's plenty of JScript banner killers out there, but here's a few tips :

1. A domain only costs $10-12 now. So saving up your pennies and dollars mean you can get one very soon. (http://www.weblaunching.net or joker.com for further info)

2. If the Namezero people find out, they remove your domain for violating the TOS.

My advice - just buy the damn thing!

If you check earlier messages, I believe you will find the undisclosed catch to their free domain name offer. They own it. Somebody here took them up on their offer with a throwaway domain name and discovered they registered it in their name. That's one way to make sure you stick with them.

It's dishonest and unethical to kill ads if your service is contingent upon it. If you don't like ads, go elsewhere. Otherwise, stick to the terms of the agreement you agreed to.

I love the rolling eyes icon...

that's the domain I got from them for the thrill of seeing what happened. It might just be my eyes, but did the bottom bar get bigger? And I still don't get the advertisement. I never see anything advertised other than their own service.

There is code out there to kill the banners. The point is, especially with namezero, that aside from the moral issue, they register "your" domain in their name. You mess with them, they'll yank the domain from your cheating clutches. As they should.
