Hey... What features would you look for in a Counter-strike dedicated server CP... I was thinking just give a list of variables that are changable (with a textbox), and when you change them, it just updates a conf file... then of course the start/stop and other fun junk...

I've seen of a couple of these floating around and I think the best would be a secure (login/password) area where the admin could do all changes via a webpage.

- MOTD editing
- Who's playing, their score, ping, etc
- Ability to boot and ban
- MAP Rotation editor
- Server variables like you said (timelimit, roundlimit, etc)
- Ability to post messages to the server
- Maybe a section to public/private the server

I am not sure if all of this is possible or not, but would be rather cool :)

There was an EXCELLENT panel demo posted here a little while back.. the panel looked great and is well worth a search :)

Yes, I know the one you are speaking of because I remember trying to kick someone thinking it wouldn't let me and it did ;)

i was actually thinking about doing the same thing, i think admin mod and all the config can be done with a MySQL database now, so updating the config would be easy...

my biggest concerns would be bandwidth consumption so i would like to see

peak times

current consumption

player/bandwidth

average download speed

etc.
