Burst is finally moving my server. My DNS server is on the same server as my domains. They have not given me the new ip addresses. I use bulkregister.
1. Do I have to change the ip address of the DNS server at bulkregister? When I do this, doesn't it take the routers 48 business hours to populate it? I could be down for 2 days??
2. Is there anything else I need to do?
3. Bulkregister has new DNS tools. Is it worth using them when you have a dedicated server? If so, which one and how to use it?
Thank you.

Your move should be seamless, because the IP blocks you are on now (UltraSpeed UK ARIN Blocks) are moving from VDI to our Data Center completely.

But doesn't the fact that the nameserver on bulkregister pointing to the old ip address mean that I have to change that?

At least Sean has been answering my support tickets this time, but those of you thinking about going with Burst, note that my transition will not be smooth as has been promised me for weeks.
Sean keeps rudely insisting in private communication that I didn't make changes that Ultraspeed USA told me to do. He just makes that sweeping ASSUMPTION when in fact I was never given instructions of any kind from Ultraspeed. Instead of taking responsibility, I've noticed that Sean will tend to blame the customer for Burst's mistakes.
Then a few people reselling hosting will come in who have lots of customers with Burst, and scared that their customers will jump ship because they know Burst's support sucks, will defend Sean and more people will be fooled into joining Burst.
When things run fine, Burst has been ok. But when there's a slight issue, their support is atrocious. I've been asking them for weeks to make sure my transition will be smooth. To check it out. I knew something would go wrong because frankly, the whole move with Ultraspeed US then UK then Burst was very unprofessional.
Burst kept ignoring my open tickets and claiming the transition would be smooth. Now they say that I had to change my ip address months before Burst bought Ultraspeed (which is funny since I didn't even have a server with Ultraspeed months before burst bought them). Well no one told me that. I specifically asked them to check it and what do I have to do.
Now I will be down maybe a day, maybe 2. Sean claims that I may only be down until 4AM but I'm not holding my breath.
Those of you thinking about joining Burst, think twice.
