Okay im a level headed guy. I hate going in and saying somtehign about a webhost unless it is really needed. I dont know whats been up with AtWebHost lately. They ahve been running into problems left and right. My staff for my website tell it to me like this...The network is down more than it is up. Now yes that is overdoing it but you know how people get. But the only reason someone would make a statement like that is when its almost true. Their servers go down around 5 diffrent times a day. When they go down the time ranges between a simple 2-3 minutes to a full 15-20 minutes. This has hurt my business really bad. Now i admit lately they have been running smooth. They ran smooth a week ago too. On those days my one site sees about 80k impressions daily. The days we have these ups and downs I see 50-56k impressions. NOw that hurts... Also with these drops i also lose about 20 bucks thats day froma advertisers. Now when i called and asked about this the guy on the phone got rude with me and said... WERE UPGRADING THE FIREWALLS...(Then says to some guy in the background..."its just anotehr person calling to wonder why the servers are down..they wont leave us alone")then he comes back to say to me...IF PPL KEEP CALLING US WE WILL NEVER GET THIS DONE!"

Today i got really upset because i opened my new company. I started off pretty good and i purchased one of those unique clicks thing where they deliver you lots of unique clicks. This was targed so it worked otu pretty good. I was making about 35-50 bucks an hour and then the campaign kicked in...costing me money....and well this thing started and then the site went down..now i couldnt stop the clicks from coming so instead i paid for 65% of the clicks to be 404 errors. This angered me i called atwebhost and well guess what..they dont answer theif phones...figures dont it? They have beend dwon for about 30 minutes now. I jus twanted to share the experience with everyone else.

Check out the Dedicated Forum for more love letters about @webhost. I came this close to getting a dedicated box with them. Thank god WHT exists, otherwise I'd be hosed too.

Anyway, you're clearly not alone in your frustration.

Chris - what on earth are you doing hosting a critical site like that on a platform like @webhost?? Rackspace seems more what you need.

From my experiences, hosting on dialup would probably be more stable. Sadly, I'm being serious about that too....

Definitly leave them. These problems have been consistant if not getting worse since I found out about them last September/October.
