Hey Everyone,

This morning, I went to check up on my box, but was getting an error saying that it that domain doesn't resolve to an IP. I went to network-tools.com and dnsstuff.com, and sure enough, the domain doesn't resolve to an IP nor does the IP resolve to a domain. The server isn't dead, because I can still ping it. I haven't tried to SSH the box yet, because at work, they have port 22 blocked.

What could cause this, and what can I do to fix it?

could be named just hosed. Thats why you have a 2ndary name server right?

Hi - its always best to give the domain name in cases like this so that you get a answer pertinent to your actual problem - but I am assuming you mean www.sevaa.com.

Your name servers are not working, I would restart Bind (or reboot your server) and see if they come back up.

I thought it would either be named or bind, but as I said before, I don't have access to SSH right now. I was just seeing if anyone had experienced this before.

Thanks for all your help. When I get home, I'll try this. What could it be if it still doesn't work after I restart named and bind?
