Hi, yesterday night i've started a domain transfer to Godaddy.
When filling the address form, a state/province was required, and, since i'm in Italy, i've selected "Not Applicable".

The various admin-c, registrant etc.. addresses was then showing, between the city and the ZIP code, "Not Applicable".

Example:

MyName,
1234 Mystreet,
MyCity, Not Applicable, 33300
Italy

Obviously this is an incorrect address...

I have noticed that the address will be registered with "Not Applicable" (doing a Whois also).
I'm wondering if this is ok and if this may cause problems in case i will need in future to change registrar.

Of course i'm in a hurry :D , i've already received the Godaddy's e-mail asking for authorization to procede.

What shall i do ? Any suggestion is very appreciated!

Thanks, Paolo

No it should not cause a problem at all, DirectNic also does this.

You can update it after the transfer.
Don't worry about it now.

Last year I transferred 2 domains from Dotster to goDaddy and the transfer did not go thru, but they charged me anyway. I contacted them and they could not do anything about it. That's the last time I use goDaddy.

To be fair, it WAS kind of the norm back then when most registrars charged for even unsuccessful transfers. But GoDaddy.com has since introduced what they called "Risk Free Transfers".

Hello rospez, if u got an email from godaddy asking u to authorise thatn there should no problem just accept it, and wait few days,

I try to transfer more than 25 domains to godaddy and i succeed only in one time when they did a refund and i redo the transfer (succeed in the next time)

serach the forums for Bob threads and contact him President of Godaddy i am sure he will help u
