registerpol 02-26-2003, 09:50 PM | Presently We are enom resellers.
Unfortunatelly they do not support canadian domains.
looking for solution similar to enom in canadian market.
API support would be good. We do not want to pay Big $ for opensrs .
Any suggestions ?

nameslave 02-26-2003, 10:43 PM Many CIRA-certified registrars offer affiliate programs. Webnames.ca and some other registrars do run some private label programs, but they are even more expensive to join than OpenSRS! |
i am a 02-26-2003, 10:47 PM | i don't follow how opensrs is expensive? they just ask that you credit the account? (ie you're not actually "paying" anything other than the opportunity cost of the interest in the time it takes to reduce your account to $0?) |
Webnames.ca doesn't cost anything to join. I have an account with them. When someone clicks through my site to theirs and buys a domain name, my account is credited. When the $ in my account adds up to past a certain amount, they send me a payment. That's it.

registerpol 02-26-2003, 11:01 PM thats fine ,presently we are using canreg.com . the problem they are not working with any API . or any kind of solution to automate registration. We are using modernbill solution and would be very good idea to just have possibility to register domains using one aproach.

If you are using their Full Access, OpenSRS requires a pre-payment of $250 domain years, i.e. the cost of 25 domain names.

vito:
You are talking about an affiliate program which many CIRA-certified registrars such as CanReg.com are offering, but Webnames.ca ALSO runs a PRIVATE LABEL PROGRAM at the same time:
