I was getting optimistic about Hostway, but then I read that their monthly traffic limit is "Based on daily traffic limit. (484MB of daily traffic limit x 31)" If I read the terms of service of web hosts, will I find that this is typical? I'm worried that I may get some publicity one day and people will be unable to log on to my site until later in the month, or that it will cost me money.

I noticed you seem obssesed with Bandwidth.If this is the case the only thing that would be a some what sure bet would be to get a high end dedicated server package with 150gs of Bandwidth.
I know I personally have had the same worries with my site and have never had any troubles.One thing I look for in a host now is that IF i do go over my bandwidth they wont shut me down.Just simply tag on a charge for the amount Im over on my bandwidth
