I've had a server at catalog.com for almost 8 months now and overall they've been pretty good but recently with the router issues it's getting to be a pain.

I'm just sorta looking at alternative locations for hosting so any suggestions would be helpful. Looking at 2 ways right now.

1) Dedictated with atleast a 500mhz proc, 128mb ram, 20gig hd, running red hat

2) colocations of my own system...

either way my requirements are
1) total cost of less that 223/mo (which is what i'm paying right now)
2) provide atleast 100gig/mo transfer (using around 50-75gig/mo right now)
3) and allows IRC servers

TIA!

I'm moving my redhat box out of catalog :) , We will however, leave 2 dedicated servers in catalog but the rest of our servers , we will move them to a better provider that provides 99.9% uptime with a true 24/7 support!

I'd have to give catalog some credits.
1. dedicated server support is excellent.
2.billing dep't is excellent.

The only reason why we are moving some of our servers is that the connectivity - network is getting worse.

Our needs:
co-location
100+GB Transfer
True! 24/7/365 support
Uptime 99.9% or better :D

If any dedicated colo provider out there that meets those needs, feel free to email me/us at the contact info. below. Thanks.

cheers,
elijah john :)

You will be hard pressed to find a host that will allow IRC Servers.

Yea I know... That's one of the main reasons we are still at catalog. They seem to be the only one that will allow IRC servers.
