My school that I go to is having lots of different problems with our Macs and our computer teacher knows nothing so I am looking to try to find a solution.

Here is a little background of our set up at school. We have a Mac OS X server and all the workstations are Mac OS 9.2. We also have some Windows XP computers but they are working fine.

First of all we have this program called Herf Jones Gallery Builder. It is a program that we make the yearbook with. To use this program we also have to have Adobe Pagemaker running at the same time. Pretty much the Gallery Builder program sends the template that we want to use to Pagemaker. When you are logged on as a normal user it doesn't work but if you login as the admin it does. Now guess what our tech person says to solve this.... Give all the yearbook people admin privileges :D

The two programs also work fine together when Mac Manager is disabled. What I am wondering is there a way to disable Mac Manger and still be able to login and stuff. Does anyone have any thoughts about this one.

Now the other problem. Whenever a person tries to print using Apple Works they always have to go to File... Page Setup and then choose the right size of paper. Sometimes it is the right size sometimes it is not but it still makes you do that every time you try to print. It seems really stupid but I can't figure it out.

Can anyone help?
