I moved from Dixiesys.com to Lehost.net and what a good choice. The reason for the move was because Dixiesys did not offer GD 2.0 and they were not interested in installing it because "GD 2.0 is still in beta." Last I heard, GD 2.0 was not in beta and is being used by every php developer I know (not trying to bash Dixiesys).
Anyways, I sent an email to Lehost and explained my situation. Within a couple of hours, Lehost setup a test account for me and I was off testing my web application. There were one or two minor issues that needed to be resolved like turning off safe mode. I notified Lehost via MSN IM and immediately they assisted me without having to open a ticket. My application was working and within about 8 hours from the time Lehost setup the test account.
I then decided to transfer my domain to Lehost and with 1 1/2 days, my site was up and running. I thanked Lehost via MSN IM and indicated that I was going to move over about 3 other domains that I was working on. To my surprise, they customized my account to host those 3 other domains and no extra charge (Yeh Ha!).
Well this was my experience and I just wanted to share it with anyone that is looking for a good hosting company.
