well after trying virtually everything possible, i am ready to give up..
let me start from the beginning,
all i wanted to do was upgrade the standard version of PHP (4.0.6) to the current version of PHP (4.3.1) which i managed to do sucessfully, HOWEVER in the process i killed the UI.
so after a few long hours and a lot of searching i found out that you cant just install software on Raq's like you can on other machines, Once again proves that a little knowledge is dangourous.
I have since discovered a pkg from pkgmasters that does this and will keep the origional version needed for the UI.
Now my question is.......
what would be the easiest way to get the UI working again as this is crutial, and i am now getting a hell of a lot of pressure,.
\Any and all help will be great.
BTW as you must have guessed i am really new to Raq's so please be as specific as possible.
The machine is a Raq 550.
Thanks
