They are implementing a demerit system. They have gone back and penalized for some posts in the past. However, in the future, they are adding "post moderators" with limited function to review all posts. The system will allow them to rate all posts from a +5 for extremely helpful and contributory, to a 0 for served no real purpose, but didn't hurt anything either, to a -5 for very damaging to our community environment.

All ratings will be tallied. If your cumulative rating falls below zero, you will be warned and given 30 days to raise it (sort of like Jeopardy). If you fail, you will be allowed to continue to visit, but you will not be allowed to post for 60 days. When you return, you will start anew at zero. If this recurs, your next posting suspension is for 90 days, third for 120 and fourth is permanent.

Ratings for individual posts may be appealed at the cost of $25 the first time, $50 the second, and $100 each time thereafter. I will be the sole judge of all appeals. I would encourage all of you, in preparation, to send at least enough money to cover your first three appeals to me NOW!.

I did a search on posts for my nick and came up with 107, when I've made several posts today and notice that it seems to be stuck at 101. And I've seen several people who've posted and it shows 0, so it's obviously not incrementing postcounts for some reason.

P.S. I've never posted in the ads forum, either. :)
