I'm just wondering if some nice, kind soul would help us out here. :)
We just placed a new server and so far so good. However there is one tiny bug...
Cpanel doesn't work.

What I mean is that when you go to: http://209.123.169.9:2082/
it gives a 404 page.

-It'll ask you for the username/password, but once it verifies the user, all you get is a 404 page. -

Does anyone know what steps can be taken to fix that? Since no one will be able to login to their CP. :(

I already ran /scripts/upcp but it still doesn't work.

Also, the cpanel files are in /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/default , so they're not missing.

Any ideas...?

Thanks....!

I guess you could go into webhostmanager and have a look at what "theme" has been assigned to the site you're trying to manage with cpanel. Try changing the theme to something else and then logging in.

1. Once logged into WHM goto "Modify An Account"

2. Choose which account you want to modify and click "Edit".

3. Alter the value for "Theme" (choose iconic or something) and click "Save".

No idea if this will work or not. Just a suggestion as to what I would try.

Thanks for the idea.
I tried it, and still no go. :(

Any other thoughts..?

Thanks!

Is this the only account doing this?

I would try re-creating it...

I Think It Is a Major Problem & Not Tiny One.

Try to Delete The Account & Create It Again.

if that does not help

Try Getting Cpanel Re-Installed ?
Contact your Cpanel vendor maybe they will provide some help.

Thanks for everyone's help.
The solution was to delete the entire cpanel directory (/usr/local/cpanel) and then reinstall cpanel: /scripts/upcp

No accounts deletion? I mean did your accounts keep the same settings they had before? This is great to know.

As I said, it was a new server. So luckily no one was on it yet. Otherwise, there would have been a lot of damage (lost users, lost themes, etc..)
