I have not tested this yet. But does any one know if cold fusion 4.5.1 SP2 will install on RedHat 6.2? There site says 6.0 or 6.1 and Cold Fusion 5.0 for linux will not be out for anther 4 or 5 months any help would be great.

Thanks :)

I tried to install on RH6.2 once but ran into a little trouble and just installed 6.1 (since 6.1 is what all my other servers run) and it worked fine.

I'm sure it's possible to make it work with 6.2 - I just didn't want to mess with it.

You might check out the cf-linux mailling list archives at houseoffusion.com.

If this is your first time administering a CF Linux server I'd kinda like to caution you to keep an eye on the cfserver processes... sometimes they can run away and steal all your CPU which requires you to '/etc/rc.d/init.d/coldfusion restart' every once in a while.

I've installed CF on Redhat 6.2 and 7.0. I believe SP1 had some problems. But I had no problems installing SP2 on 6.2, 7.0, or Colbalts' Raq. SP2 appears to be a lot more stable. The CF server has been running for a couple of months now with no problems, so it looks pretty good.
