kanechart sr: good were on the right line now why. I checked MB and I see I have month left. Has this something to do that I own a hosting company my own and you don't like me

DynastySupport: You did not lost any month
kanechart sr: you dont take away month for the joyment. I was running gaianova.com now you go to it thats all we have left.

kanechart sr: I paid for 6 months at a cheaper price
kanechart sr: you don't set mb say I have another month and then delete me
kanechart sr: I run hosting company we make sure each person knows before we deleted there account and why. I looked I got no emails besides my domain soon up a .ca one
kanechart sr: We did deal and was working good. I was licking how things going. I lost 5 months of work. really hard work
kanechart sr: now all i get sorry account was over bye bye. Lets put this way if you were working on a MMORPG and your time up witch reallyu said you had a month go. so first off misleading. Next you lost everything. what woukld you do. and dont say no lose. we have over 15 staff memebers. so you can see we had tons work.

Looks like you did'nt pay your bill on time. One day when you start paying house notes, car notes, electric, phone....see if they don't cut you off if you don't pay on time.

oh yea....fire something off to BBB telling them you got cut off for not paying on time.

On the screen shot, it shows you are paying quarterly, not semi-annually like you said in the chat dialog. That could be the problem.

yup looks like quartly too, think you misread and assumed 6 months ?

Everything looks like it all legit, the only question is, did they warn that the account was getting terminated.

Well, you sound a bit confused. You said that you paid for six months. Yet your MB account shows quarterly (as dbbrock1 says). Which would explain why your host said you were 2 months behind (Dec 18). Sounds like a legit cancellation to me. Hosting doesn't come free...

To Kane's defense, even though he might've messed up on the quarterly/bi-annually thing, the screenshot still states that he'd paid for three months in December and was to renew again in March. I'd really like to hear Dynastyhost's side of the story, though.

Hmm. When I look at it again, you're right. It says "Renewed on Dec 18/03" which would imply payment has been made.

This is the second complaint like this I've seen about the same host with this exact same problem in the last few days.

Either they're screwing up, screwing over or there's a problem with their accounting software.

dont pay your bills you get terminated. simple as that.! Try not paying your bills on your mortgage.. your house will be taken back within a week.. i assure u :)

First of all, am I the only one who noticed that Kane said he sent cash in the mail? There's your first mistake right there, Kane. Even if your host did get it, there's no way to prove that he/she did. At the very least, you should have cut them a certified cheque or got the money sent via Western Union or something if you couldn't pay by credit card.

Second, that screenshot doesn't actually say it was paid; merely that it was renewed. As I pointed out the first time Kane posted about DynastyHost, the problem is that we can't see what's in the "My Invoices" section. The host may well have renewed the account in good faith and not been paid for two months (before you counter this, Kane, see the prior paragraph). If that's the case, the host has every right to cancel the account.

Second, you're the one that appears to be the aggressor in that chat, not DynastyHost. There are two instances where you swore. You also made a statement that appears to be nothing more than a thinly veiled accusation IMHO (I run a hosting company and you terminated my account because you don't like me).

Now...let's assume that you do indeed run a hosting company. You've chosen to report on a negative hosting experience you had with another hosting company regarding their services to potential future customers. To give a parallel analogy, that would be like GM trashing Ford because Ford sold GM a lemon car in the middle of an auto show. Do you see where I'm going with this?

And before you go posting another half dozen threads trying to convince others (and quite possibly yourself) that you're right, don't bother. You're not right. Even if they're wrong (and there really isn't any evidence to suggest they are), you're not right. Let it go. As my friend Ron says, "You need to unplug...shut down...reboot! That's what you gotta do."

While I do agree that there should be notice that there is given and it does look like he is paid through March 18th, I think there is something that people are overlooking here.

Why would a host terminate an account for no reason so close to its next renewal date? Are they basically saying that they don't want any money anymore?

It doesn't make much business sense to terminate an account for no reason. That means less money coming it.

There simply has to be more to this story.

yeah, im going to have to agree with the host here. He says you didnt pay your bill. Something seems kinda fishy about you paying for 6 months. Its your job to make sure you keep proper backups of your sites. You claim to own a hosting company and dont do this? You own a hosting company with 15 employees and use someone elses virtual accout? You also make threats of bad mouthing the host here and were definitly the agressor in this situation. I have no pitty for you, you're a liar in my opinion....

the staff of my site was 15 members. The hosting comapny came in the middle of this. there was no point moving then. It's over just watch out you may be there next victoom!

Hello!

Kane (fsonline.ca and gianova.net) hosted two accounts with us.
He have made promises that he will send the money via postal mail months ago for the renewal of his hosting accounts.

Since the day he signed up, we have only received 1 check for 6 months of service.

He promised that he will send in a check for renewal of the acount but constantly blaming it on the Postal Service did not deliver ... or that it will take a long time for postal to deliver from Canada to the United States.

We have contacted him, send out invoices, but he failed to make the payment.

No wonder Dynastyhost left the conversation so abruptly with the language used. What Dynastyhost have basically done in that chat was what any business would do if a customer became abusive on the phone and that would be to terminate the call.

It does seem strange Kane that you haven't posted the other page as some have said about the invoices you claimed to have paid.

If you are the same person who posted before singing DynastyHost's praises and you are only 17 and you claim to run a webhosting company, I suggest you shut up shop, wait 10 years then come back as a mature adult.

As already stated on other threads in here, there a too many youngsters out there trying to get rich quick.

Then the poor clients have to suffer for a moments greed.

That side of the story made more sense..

the guy paid for 6 month starting in June.. It expired in Dec.. Renewed for 3 month assuming that what he wanted to pay but never paid.. so he is 2 month late.. got cut off. simple

what made me believe DynastyHost even more, the AIM log and the threats of flaming the host on B-boards as a blackmail style.

The screen shot means nothing. The "renewed on" date is simply the date the invoice was generated. It does not mean that payment was recieved. We would need to see the customer view dashboard to see how many unpaid invoices there are. My guess is that though the invoice was generated, no payment was applied, so that invoice is overdue.

MB just generate the renew date base on his promise that he will sent in payment but DynastyHost never get it. He try to make Dynastyhost look bad by holding into the MB screen shot. Nice try.

May I strongly remind posters that this is NOT a support forum for your host. Unless you have reached a point of absolute impasse, we strongly recommend you keep dealings and negotiations with your host in such matters off the forum.
