He said he need more than 10GB of bandwidth for that price. BTW what's the deal with your FREE 30MB hosting?
YUPAPA 05-25-2001, 12:19 PM for the free package, I don't accept anymore members until Mid-June
~steph~ 05-27-2001, 09:37 AM wow! 5000mb is a lot of space for that much $$. How many FTP accounts do u offer?
rockergrrl 05-27-2001, 11:15 AM If I'm not mistaken, they're a donhost reseller....
coolguy23 05-27-2001, 11:19 AM yes he is. but what's wrong with being a reseller?
vibesolutions 05-27-2001, 11:23 AM how's he offering this much while competitors offer much less? is this guy even making a profit? or is he figuring you'll never reach the limiit

Never said its wrong to be a reseller... you have to start somewhere....
I'm just pointing out that he's with donhost...that's all...
YUPAPA 05-27-2001, 12:52 PM YUP!
Donhost reseller!
Nothing wrong become a reseller. I am happy that Donhost has a good reputation.
You have 1 FTP Account... And subdomains will be available on the Advanced and Mega Package!
So if you have a subdomain "subdomain.yourdomain.com", you will get another FTP Account.

I'm definatley interested, I have to talk it over with some other people first, shouldn't take long to reach a decision =)
~steph~ 06-02-2001, 02:54 AM When will you be considering giving multiple FTP accounts? I'll need that...
YUPAPA 06-02-2001, 10:30 AM You have one FTP account for now.
If you need more, you can create more subdomains like abc.yourdomain.com, that will be another FTP account
the more subdomains you create, the more FTP accounts you have.
determinist 06-02-2001, 04:11 PM 50GB! I was just about to ask how big is your server's HD until i've learn that you're with donhost.
Anyway i think you've draft out this package quite well, great for hosting a small-mid traffic site and keeping Gigs of non-shared, personal files which many webmasters might be interested..
vibesolutions 06-02-2001, 04:38 PM you mean 5 gigs :)
~steph~ 06-04-2001, 04:59 AM hmm...but is there a limit to how many subdomains you can create or is it unlimited?
YUPAPA 06-04-2001, 09:43 AM You will have no limited of subdomains.
But each subdomain will have their own account.
For example, you have a domain http://www.yourdomain.com
When you setup an account for the subdomain, it will looks like http://subdomain.yourdomain.com
Each subdomain will come with an account.
SO, if you have a subdomain http://subdomain.yourdomain.com
you can login to the subdomain account like ftp://subdomain.yourdomain.com or ftp.yourdomain.com
You will not have extra web space for your subdomain,
If you give 50MB for your subdomain account, you will loose 50MB on your main account.
So the more subdomains you create, the more web space you will loose.
~steph~ 06-04-2001, 11:35 PM umm...then could you like set a limit to how much space the sub-domain and use or see how much space the sub-domain is using? and if you want to set up a sub-domain, can you do it yourself or do i have to ask you to help me set it up?
