Hi There,
I am in the UK & have just signed up with 2checkout & would like to setup a wire transfer,
It says:

"Q. What is a 'Corresponding Bank'?
A. All international banks that wish to accept funds transfers from the United States have a Corresponding Bank in New York. A Corresponding Bank acts as a bridge between our bank and your bank. ONLY your bank can prodvide this info, 2CheckOut cannot.

Corresponding Bank Routing Code: "

Does anyone know what the routing code is for the Natwest bank ? I contacted them but all they could give me was a SWIFT number and an IBAN number. Im not sure if one of these would be suitable.

Thanks in advance, Oli :)

Not 100% but i think iban (is international banking) so this may be what you want
We had the same problem with abbeynational in the end we used barclays , natwest is owned by royal bank of scotland so they should be able to give you the info you want , best way would be to print out the 2co form and take it into your bank and ask them to help you fill it in .

iban's (international bank account number) only apply to payments made within the eu. it was one of those brilliant ideas setup by the european union folks.

for payments to the usa you should only need a aba or swift (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) code.

these differ from branch to branch. so you will need to contact them

the only thing i can remember is their bic code which is nwbk.

Well, I tried the SWIFT code but it informed me that the code can only contain numbers so its not that. Oh well , spose ill have to go down there.

It's a routing code, it's something different. We had trouble explaining this to the bank but we just emailed lloyds in the end and they gave us the code. Seems emailing was better than actually walking into the bank.
