We are currently looking for a dedicated server to host with. We will put a maximum of 100 clients on it, and have about 13 to transfer right now. We do not need anything extroadinary, however, we need to keep price under $150.

Here are the necessities:
Control Panel - for administrator, users, and *resellers*
Processor - Atleast a P3 600
Ram - Atleast 128
Bandwidth - 10GB to start (we currently will use under 2GB)
IP's - Either one time cost, or free (we give out IP's to each client)
Support - don't want to talk to an answering machine!

We don't need a fancy 1ghz machine as you can see. We have lowend clients, and this will suffice. Installed software would be a flavor of linux (preferably Red Hat), PHP, MySQL, Tomcat, JSP, Apache, Perl 5.6.0, JDK1.2, Zlib, Pre-installed scripts, etc. We need lots loaded.

If you have an offer, we are ready to make a decision. Please don't try and sell us the brooklyn bridge, we know what we want. We have received offers ranging from $105-145 (but want to make sure we make the right decision).

Please email dherman@icomputerservices.com an offer and we will be on ICQ 29294588 all day (May 23rd) to talk (10am EST- 5pm EST). Look forward to talking to all of you. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, it looks good, however IP's are expensive! $5 Setup Fee $5 / Per Month for a block of 10. Hmmm, however it is a great price for the server. Any other offers, because Burst might have a new client today...

Hey guys/gals, I am not trying to be mean, but if you read the fine print:

$99.95 for first 3 months, $149.95 after 3 months and contract is for 6 months. Total cost is about $850 w/setup for 6 months. It still works out to $122 per month (average) however is it a good deal still??

For the first six months yes, I feel it is, but then the 150 a month I feel you may want to continue looking a bit furthur, because it will average to be 150 a month, still under what you said you wanted to spend.

Anyone know of a place where I can find such servers at the pricepoint?

Maybe take a look at http://www.99servers.com/ but generally I think you will get what you pay for... :D

To have 13 clients on this specific server now bringing in about $9 per month per client, would not be cost beneficial if I got a $175-200 server. Know what I mean?
