I visited your site & got confused about the control panel. Which is the control panel which you offer along with your servers ?

Thanks In Advance

Hi KG,

If you are on Managed services, you will be setup with our Control Panel. This is an in-house programmed Control Panel.

On the other hand, would you need Root Access (System Administrator) we would be able to install Webmin for you - or any other Control Panel for that matter, would you have a license for it.

I wanted To Know :-

1. We Don't get root access if we use your control panel ? Right ?

2. Is there any place i can see a demo of your control panel ?

3. In the Above Post You have mentioned:-
CPU: xxxMHz
I want to know which processor you use ?
INTEL ? P3 or Celeron ?
ADM ?
Cyrix ?
Which Processor ?

koolguru,

You asked the right question. The 600mhz is fishy.

Hi koolguru,

If you use our Control Panel, you will be more like a user with the requirement of having the security and resources of a dedicated server. In such an event, you would not be root, since it would be setup under Managed Services.

If, on the other hand, we install Plesk, Webmin or any other third party control panel, you can maintain your "root" (System Administrator privileges).

More information on our Control Panel can be found at http://www.smarthosting.com?guide .

The CPU's are Celerons. PentiumIII's of an equivalent speed are available at a small monthly increase of $5 on any of the chosen plans.

Additionally, please, keep in mind that if any advertised hardware unit is not in stock, we will use a better/faster hardware unit than advertised - no extra cost to you, we will take on the loss. Unlike our competitors, we will not wait until the right piece is in; you get to keep, what we install, in the server - even if it is twice as good as advertised.

Hi ebird,

We can assure you that we give a 600Mhz at $99/month - no catch. If such CPU is not in stock, we will give you a faster CPU at no extra cost.
