Hi,

We are looking for someone to come up with a clean, simple, soothing to the eyes, professional, fast-loading design/template for our website that will work on a majority of web browsers. Em..don't worry about WebTV..not concerned about that, but definately Netscape, Explorer, Opera and all the other popular ones..I do not even know. It has to all be within 800x600 resolution with no scroll bars..atleast the first page.

Note, we do not want the site to be graphix intesive, yet have some nice graphics that make the site attractive. No Flash. We are not sure if we want to use those fancy drop down menu thingys when you put your mouse over it. So, keep that option open.

Here is the jist of the site:

It will have a search box with few options/member login/join, a nice table that I can use over and over....other links such as About us/Privacy/Disclaimer/Forums/and etc...

As I said, nothing fancy..yet very nice looking. For an example, have a look at MapQuest (http://www.mapquest.com/). Their first page is kinda what we are looking for..those type of icons too. Not that small though..or maybe it is small for me with my 1024 resolution. :D

It has to match our logo, which looks like #1 on our voting page. #1 is winning so far, so we will go with that logo. While you are at it, please vote which logo you like the best. Ok..that is offtopic..:P

Now, we do not have mucho dollares..we have minimo dollares....so, please send us an email with your price and a link to your portfolio if you are interested. We may consider running a contest actually..but right now we just want to get a price quote and go from there.

Also, there is going to be someone programming the behind the scenes things..so you only have to worry about the design aspect.


I am going to post this on other design forums too. We want the best price for a good quality work..yeah..an example of beggers being choosers, but we are trying..:P

Ok, I just wanna update everyone and let them know that please be patient. I have gotten a lot of emails and it will take the whole weekend just to go through each one and reply accordingly. I want to give everyone a fair chance.
