Aloha,
well funny I have been into puters now for about 20 years used to be a good crack person in my college days on a HP3000
and for the next 5 years onto other things
but now I am a end user and like things easy
so here are my thoughts

I SCUBA dive quite a lot have been an instructor for 10 years and diving for over 20

a log of my frineds dive (instructors)
for those of you that dive I consider someone experienced when they have around 1000 plus dives uder em
very exp at 10,000 dives
the funny thing is I like tech diving and dep diving etc... but for most of my diving I like it easy I use a single reg single 72 tank and like a simple bcd no frills (I do have tech gear but I am talking daily diving)

now in diving the newbies want all teh bells and whistles and think ya have to do this and this etc... when we take newbies out to Molokini they strap on rescue floaties knives etc...
this reminds me of unix people or hardcore techies saying y ahave to know unix do not get a RaQ or a web app blah blah

granted if the web app does not do its job that is ok to state but they do not they just say ya got to know the inside workings

how many remember the fiorst wordstar and having to code in your bold nad italics etc... I like word it is easy to use
I want my web hosting mngmnt that way to ???
I want to just go to a admin panel and hit add client site.

are they afraid they will run out of a job or am I really missing something

I design sites not the best out there but I try we have had good luck and I am very good at marketing and biz
(although I do not type well i have someone go over my pro work ;) )
anyway I know in design there are many issues graphical editors can not do very well

is this the case with these web aps really ??

I am curious about this very much so ???
anyways Mahalo

Sorry about the bad spelling but it is way past my bed time and I am to tired to reread ;)
