I created my own templates for cpanel and put them in the directory /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/sharpweb, the control panel does seem to work but when i test it all the tag in the first page (the ones that spit back, number of ftp,email, subdomains) show nothing, however when i switch back to the iconic template set it shows them for the account, what am i doing wrong? the tag <cpanel print="DOMAIN"> prints back fine on the main page, but all the tags like <cpanel lastlogin="lastlogin()"> don't show at all. please help!

I have a problem with mine where the <cpanel lastlogin="lastlogin()"> doesn`t show anything either, everything else is working fine. I`m looking for some suggestions also.

This is extremely frustrating because now making a template is worthless...

Okay i took the default "iconic" template and put it in my sharpweb directory, it does the same damn thing, so maybe it has to be with directory names, although both directories have the same name.

Court,

Change <cpanel email="countfilters()"> to <cpanel Email="countfilters()">.

The capitalization of the words such as 'Email' makes a difference. If you would've contacted our support team, we would have been more than happy to help you. ;)

Matt or anyone close to cpanel

is there a way to add frontpage install into the control panel so the customer can add/remove frontpage themselves

and is there a tag to show the package they have?

Superman,

This is available in Site5's NetAdmin, however not in Cpanel... yet. We will certainly consider this for a future feature to be added.
