Hi,

I have just moved from a shared virtual server environment ( http://www.vservers.com ) to a Linux dedicated server from fasthosts ( http://www.fasthosts.co.uk )

Vservers provided a great feature which allowed you to specify and email address which would recieve ALL mail sent to anyname@domainname provided it hadn't already found a home via aliases and virtusertables.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me how I can recreate such a setup on my dedicated Linux box (it is using sendmail).

Cheers

Hi Stuart,

I've just got a Matrix Linux server through Fasthosts too. Seems like the help box tells you how to do this in the mailbox alias config, below where you set-up a mailbox. You just enter 'nobody' as the alias and the name of the account to send to and this works as a cath-all...

Hope that helps...

Just realised I'm having problems getting this thing to run...now I think its accidentally deleted a MySQL table it needs to run part of the admin!

Cheers,

Dan
