I was thinking maybe a thread could be started where people could place links + price for templates they might want to sell or have lying around etc.. I know it would make it easier for me than searching through all the posts. (I know that sounds lazy)

Once a template is sold, they could remove it.

Just a thought.

i understand what you mean and im not saying get rid of the normal threads or anything of that sort.

I was thinking of people who have templates lying around, usually if you notice that someone will ask for something and people will post. You might not see these templates advertised otherwise as much.

Sometimes theres unsold templates from other old threads. You don't know about them etc.

My WHT setting is set to the last 2 days of posts in a forum, so if someone had a post about a template from a month ago I won't come across it.

Any thread like this will disappear quite fast, because bumping a thread doesn't bring it back to the top in the advertising forums.

I think this is a great idea. It'll mean that anyone looking for templates will find them all in one place, and the job forums won't be so cluttered up with templates for sale to distract people looking for non-template work.

I think a new forum area just for templates (alongside the job offers and requests) would be better than one big thread though.

well the problem is that there are so many damn templates for sale. even if they did make a thread for it, templates would be burried just as quickly.
