Like everyone else, I am looking for a great host that will allow about 15 GB's a month in data transfer to host our RealVideo clips. Would like to keep costs down. Looked into Tera-byte and may use them but they dont have a Real Server. May have to use HTTP streaming but would prefer to use a Real Server. Anyone know of a host that is similar in price to Tera-byte but also offers Real Server?

Considering how expensive RealServer is (a couple of grand) I very much doubt hosts will offer RealServer unless you're prepared to pay extra.

There's very little difference with HTTP streaming + RealServer anyway (the only exception being the no. of concurrent streams used at one time).... So if you can handle <25 concurrent connections then HTTP streaming is probably the best way.

There is one big advantage to using a real RealServer (besides the multiple concurrent streams). With a RealServer you can create "SureStream" files. These are RealMedia files which have different bit rates built into the same file, and they automatically adapt to the connection speed of the client's computer. If you don't have a RealServer, you have to create separate high-bandwidth and low-bandwidth versions of your files and put "Click here for (high/low)-bandwidth version" links on your site (assuming you want to offer both versions; if you're only catering to cable/DSL users and your files only have one bit rate, the SureStream feature doesn't make much difference).

How about a RAQ-Server from 4webspace.com or Rackshack and the RealServer-Basic (its free - you can get it from the Real-Site) ! I dont know how much Money you want to pay but this is what I will use soon for My Mediastreams.
