How much cost for ips and extra usage?

extra bandwidth is 1.00 per gig. ips are sold in blocks of 8 and are 8$ each block per month. the server comes with 8 ips for free.
Dathorn-Andrew 02-11-2003, 09:21 PM What speeds are the P3's? 256k or 512k cache? You mentioned Dual XP's, are the dual servers randomly given P3's or XP's or what? Bandwidth providers? IP to ping/trace? Uptime guarantee?
Sorry your site scares me, you might want to fix it ;) (www.tranxactglobal.com)
Edit: Also, where are is the datacenter located? Is there a restriction to the number of IPs a server can have?
Edit #2: How is support handled? Phone? Tickets (I see the wonderful record of them not getting answered in your forums)? E-Mail? What's the setup time on these servers?

ok - dual piii is actually the 1.2 mp with 512Kcache.
no dual amds at this time.
support is by ticket and you may also call in addition.
we answer all our emergency tickets. inbformational tickets only get second priority.
3 business days on duals - same day on P4's
we are not webmasters- working on it
you can have as many IP;s on the server as you like.
100% uptime guarantee
ping to dv2.com

this sounds great BUT..., is it true that I.P's can take months to get from you guys? We would need them fast as per new reseller sign ups.

sailor 02-12-2003, 03:22 AM ips do not take months. you heard wrong. :)
they generally take a week - we do ip requests once a week usually.
100% uptime guarantee - we have credited many of you - ROBERT - you included - so please dont post here any more flames. if you were not credited - we did not have the abillity to credit the smaller amounts. we do now - however we need your credit card on our new billing system to issue it. so - if you want one - get us your card info and we can credit you. Thanks!
coight 02-12-2003, 09:20 AM Still waiting for the extra gb of ram that you promised heh.

robert - this is an incorrect thread - you were paid through your reseller. Please quit posting in sales threads - its obivous your intentions which are not honorable. I am disappointed. email your provider if you have issues.

No offense, but how can you provide 100% uptime guarantee on both?
I.e. what if my EIDE hard rive fails on the server that you provide and I don’t have RAID 0 or 0+1 on that server? If you provide the 100% SLA on hardware then your 100% guarantee just got thrown out the window due to the hard drive failure which will take you time to replace.
Please correct me if I am wrong...

If you are really interested and not just stirring the pot - feel free to pm me with any more detailed questions and I can give you personalized resonse. thanks!
I am not just "just stirring around", just questioning your 100% uptime guarantee that you posted in an open forum.

hahahahahahahahha - man you are too funny - I am sure you are just asking an "honest" question here too by posting a cometitors web site link on my ad - geez - how obvious.
whatever. no we are not located there. you obviously know we are across thestreet and who we are - or you would not ahve made your comment above. you just lost credibility here. So Sorry. we own our own data center. you are TOOOOOOOO funnny. Are you a customer of theirs? Are you now going to have a buddy make another snide comment in here? Please do yourself a favor and move on from harrassing this post.
looks like you make a habbit of busting on competitors in their sales threads.

I actually didn’t know where you were located. But a little search turned up that you yourself admitted that you are across the street from them @ http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40552&highlight=Marietta, guess I should of used search instead of posting your competitors name. And no, I am not a customer of theirs, but I might be seeing is how you are acting here.
Also, asking for your location isn’t considered snide. You have been on the defensive since the Myacen brought up the 100% uptime. Also, I don’t consider this a harassing post and not sure why you do? If they are your competition you should have just said you were not located in that DC and moved on and not go into that little rant about posting your competitors web site link bit.
As for my 2 posts that you allude to as “busting on competitors”, I don’t see what the big deal is about and I am not busting on them. In the first post I simply illustrated that cogent was used and why I consider cogent bad. In the second post I simply asked for the seller’s website, which I see many other people do.

Re: still available: installation charge of 99
Yep, there's now a setup fee and your cpanel also has gone up by $10. It ain't exactly the same offer any longer. :)
> the dual hard drives can be raided to gether for redundnacy as well.
What do you charge to have them RAID'ed? I couldn't see any options for that in your order form.
BurtonHost 03-20-2003, 04:01 PM The raid is software raid I believe - so I doubt there would be a charge just something they do when setting up the server. I dont honestly know though.
