Hello WHT!

This tutorial is meant to examine the important factors in networking your business with other business. If you do offline advertising then you have huge potential for this which doesn't go with out saying while perhaps a bit more limited this remains the same for online advertisers.

This morning I awoke at 4:00AM ( :D )to attend a conference a couple hours away about networking your business and most of the information that follows is that in which comes from the conference its self and past experiences as I've had plenty of great teachers in this area.

Networking your business plays a vital role in the overall profit that your business brings in. A better term to describe the networking I'm referring to is that of Word of Mouth. The difference between the ideas contained within and that of typical word of mouth is that this type of word of mouth is done through business relationships. Targeting a business for this type of networking is easy they just want the same from you. You spread word about them and they spread the same about you however this is typically best utilized with larger groups of businesses such as 20-50 different business owners in which all wish to grow their business. To help understand what I'm referring to think about a group of business that meet ever so many days consisting of an accountant, web design firm, web hosting firm, computer services firm, rental firm, and a law firm. Now for even one of these companies to get hired by a business - say the Accountant gets hired to keep up with the businesses accounting needs... the accountant can now connect this business with a web developer within the same group while the web developer connects the business with the web hosting firm, while the web hosting firm suggests that they look into the law services of Law Firm A .... and so on. The overall objective of the group is to expand each others business and basically allowing each other business to act as a personal sales team for each other.

To get started with something like this - talk to a local business in which provides services that you feel you could back them with. For example a web site design firm building a website for a company would need to have someone to host their site - they could refer you to them.

This also can be achieved the way that many of our Web Hosting Talk users advertise by - online. Contact a web design firm and once that design firm is completed with a project have them recommend your host etc... Have meetings, be comfortable, after all - you could build one large sales team working for you in every direction!

I hope that I have explained networking via businesses in a way that you can understand and grasp and hopefully try using for your self.
