I noticed a strange problem with Webalizer: the time at which it generates its daily stats increases by 4-15 minutes every day .

For example, 2 days ago Webalizer report shown that the stats were generated at 12:00 PST. Yesterday this time shifted to 12:07 PST, and today's time is 12:16 PST. This has been happening for about 2 months.

Is this a problem? How can I fix it?

Do you have a reverse DNS lookups activated?

Do you delete old statistics files or always process one big log file that is never rotated?

Yes, I have reverse DNS lookup. I didn't change any log-related settings in CPanel, so the logs should be rotating properly (I hope). I also activated AWStats in addition to Webalizer (which was turned on by default).

Can these things cause the delay?
