I have been using PhantasyWorksHosting for about 3 months. but now I found I have problems when using ftp.

after i upload files using ftp, I cannot reach the files even I typed the correct url. and after I deleted some files, I can still reach those already-deleted files in browsers.

I have contacted customer service, but almost 48 hours and nothing reply. what's going on?

is someone using this hosting and counter the same problems?

Make sure you upload files in the RIGHT folder. ;)

Pretty sure you have to be overlooking something. Any uppercase letters that you are missing?

One possible explanation, but it's just a guess--

Are you ftping to your domain name or to your ip address? If it's your ip address, you're most likely sending to an account that is no longer resolving.

Phantasy just merged with insiderhosting and all the sites seem to have been transferred to new servers with new IP addresses.

They transferred the sites themselves, so they probably have your deleted files on the new server. If you are ftping to the old IP address however, you are making changes to a site that is no longer resolving to your domain name.

I had registered an account with PWH just a few weeks ago, and was surprised by the sudden merger, but everything has gone smoothly for me so far and service has been giving out almost too much information during this period ;)

If you've changed your contact email account since signing up with them, though, they might not have been able to reach you to explain all of this.

If this is the first you're hearing of it, go to http://www.insiderhosting.com and check on support.

Good luck!

Hey filmdave,
Thanks for the post as you are exactly right, as it sounds like this member was ftping to their domain name which has not fully resolved for them as of yet. We have send out about 7 emails in the past 3-4 days detailing everything and I mean everything. Cross, if you have not received these, please contact us immediately.
