tandem 02-07-2003, 08:22 PM From your website:
> By December of 2002 EZZI will build out a third Data Center on Long Island.
Is that where the servers will be located?
conanqtran 02-07-2003, 10:41 PM you are in Australia right? is this unmanaged server? what would the extra cost of management be?
ispclub.com 02-07-2003, 10:54 PM Tandem,
Yes that is the data center.
ispclub.com 02-07-2003, 10:55 PM conanqtran,
No we are in NY. Server is unmanaged and anything you need us to do is $75/hr
conanqtran 02-07-2003, 10:59 PM oh i see :) so after siz month, will you ship the server to me? (i live in Australia)
Just to clarify, the IP posted is for the Long Island datacenter?
ispclub.com 02-07-2003, 11:10 PM conanqtran,
Yes we will ship the server to wherever you want
ispclub.com 02-07-2003, 11:11 PM JonL
Yes the IP posted is for the data center that was linked to the post. The address is right on the web page and its on Long Island.
conanqtran 02-08-2003, 01:14 AM could you list what services/support are not include (those that require extra fees: $75 US /hour)?
ispclub.com 02-08-2003, 02:07 AM conanqtran,
We are providing you with a server, which we will take care of hardware up until the time it leaves our data center, then it is up to you to contact the manufacturers of any issues that may arise. We will install the OS and a control panel for you. That is basically the extent of it. The server is yours and yours to take care of, maintain and upgrade.
loopforever 02-09-2003, 03:27 PM I have one of these machines - I am extremely satisfied with it. Only problem we had was that the bus speed was set to the default 100mhz - tech support upped it to 120 (or 133 - I'm unsure) and we were all set.
Speed of the hardware is very good, as is the network.
I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dedicated machine - it's one of those things you can't pass up.
ispclub.com 02-09-2003, 04:34 PM loopforever,
Thank you and we are very happy you are satisified.
As for the bus speed it is 133MHz, we just had to change jumpers on the motherboard. First time using the XP2100 with ASUS so we werent aware of the issue ahead of time... but now we are :)
Yahiko 02-10-2003, 08:39 AM Still got one server left?!?
ispclub.com 02-10-2003, 11:22 AM Yahiko,
I think there are 2 left
WebmastersHost 02-11-2003, 12:14 AM ispclub.com,
When will you be getting a new batch in?
Are you offering WHM/CPanel yet? Thanks.
ispclub.com 02-11-2003, 12:16 AM We should have more in next week. We started the process with cpanel, just waiting on them to open our account.
tandem 02-11-2003, 12:57 AM Can the setup be lowered if we don't want to purchase the server (i.e. - just lease it)?
ispclub.com 02-11-2003, 03:53 AM tandem,
Cant do anything with this special, if you want a server with a lower set up fee we have specials on our website - http://www.ezzi.net/specials/home.htm
Jeffbg123 02-12-2003, 07:24 PM 1. Are Game Servers allowed?
2. Is SSH supported on Linux boxes?
3. Do you charge for sending occasional e-mails with support issues? Not full hour conversations
4. Any more of the advertised servers available? Thanks
VertexJeff on AIM
ispclub.com 02-12-2003, 07:31 PM Jeffbg123,
1. Are Game Servers allowed?
Yes
2. Is SSH supported on Linux boxes?
Yes
3. Do you charge for sending occasional e-mails with support issues? Not full hour conversations
No we wont charge for a simple question here or there but we are not a school and we will not "teach" anyone how to run a server. If you need guidance, that is fine... basically we charge when we have to log into your server because you did something to cause it to stop working.
4. Any more of the advertised servers available?
Yes
Hope this helps
