http://www.dim8.net - they are still alive they are installing scripts that make them automatic. Robert is a great guy and takes good care of his clients.

Urgent!!!
Due to the failure of our server's harddisk drive, we have been down for quite sometimes. We have replaced the broken one with a new one, and it is working perfectly right now. We are restoring our server and all of our clients' files now. We promise to finish this problem as soon as possible. So please be patient while we are trying our very best to restore the server. We apologize deeply for our failure and the inconvenience we caused you. Sorry ...

I'm sure donovan the owner is as upset about the hard disk failure as his customers are.

I've mainly seen donovan the owner posting at FreeWebSpace.net and hes always been helpful.

Never noticed that, maybe I should check mine and his site more often.

Mivo, I don't have an opinion either way, other than they aren't the first host to have a drive failure.

Hello, I've been reading here for awhile but this is my first post. I didn't really want to begin with a negative post, but I would like to know what's going on with Servus. I just signed up with them 2 weeks ago. Everything was fine for the first week, then they had a hard-drive failure last Thursday and my site has been down ever since. I have emailed support several times and have yet to receive a reply. The reason I signed up with Servus was because they came highly recomended and they seem to have a very good reputation on here, but I must say I'm not impressed with them at all. Guess I'll have to continue my search for a reliable host.

Wow, I just received an email from Servus telling me that the owner of MY account cancelled it. ??? I just signed up 2 weeks ago and I did not cancel my account, so I don't know what's going on. I'm very dissapointed in Servus.

Chicken, it's a case bad timing. Someone talks about their excellent service and when you check their site they're down. For a host I think, hard drive failure should only be a minor problem. If they'd had daily tape backup they should not experience the problem they have now.

servus.ws leases 4webspace' raq3 and it allows adult contents. What do you expect from it?

Just when I thought my back up files are waiting for me to restore everything to my server at MattKD's server, I noticed that it only restored server system files. I think I am really having really bad luck lately. But it might be a lesson for us to make things better.

Spillkit, I think my staff did a serious mistake on his recent mail. If next time you noticed that there are something seriously wrong, please mail me directly and I will have a detail check. Thank you.

And personally, I am very dissapoint as well in this case for my own company. I guess we will need to work out much more harder.
