Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please take a moment to screen the message carefully. This request is important to me. Do not PM me - I have a mess with them. Simply respond to this thread.

I'm looking for enthusiastic, creative and open-minded people who would like to help me out with a simple guide-type material in exchange for either one of those:

- services (few months of advertising on the project until the site gets at least 500 daily unique visitors - but your company will have to pass the policy that we'll have; or I can design you a couple of professional banners (could be animated))
- money (can pay US $30 only via PayPal)

You need to have good knowledge of the language, knowledge of the web hosting industry and good writing skills!

For now I need only one thing - its for a new hosting catalog of mine:

I need you to write brief explanations of the web hosting types and some products and services. I also need them to be in a newbie-friendly form/style (forget your programming-talk for this). I need everyone to understand what the product means.

For the perfect example of what I'm looking for, visit www.ISPCheck.com, click on the categories they have and note the explanations they offer for each category. This is exactly what I'm looking for! If you produce something like this and you leave me thrilled about your work - I will both pay you and offer advertising!

Here are the categories I need the explanations for:

HOSTING TYPES: Unix Hosting, Win2000/NT Hosting, E-Commerce Hosting, Virtual Private Servers, Dedicated Hosting, Managed Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Co-Location Hosting.

PRODUCTS/SERVICES: Domain Registration, Shopping Carts, Merchant Accounts, Internet Access, AntiSpam Services, Search Engine Placement, Web Templates.

(hope i'm not forgetting anything)

If I DO like what you produce, I may have some other work for you in future.
If I DO NOT like, I'd still pay, but $10 for bothering. I think this is fair enough.

You see, I want the original work and content. I don't want to steal anything from other web sites. If I wanted to, could have ripped the definitions/explanations from ISPCheck.com for instance, but don't want to do that for ethical reasons.

PS: PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ON YOUR OWN and then send me the material and request money. I'll have to choose YOU and confirm it directly with you. If I do not confirm the deal with you directly - that means I've already found the person I've been looking for.

Thank you very much. I'll be waiting for posts now.

Hi Artashes!

I may be able to be of assistance to you. I have a large amount of writing experience in a variety of areas (technical writing, copywriting, article writing, academic writing, etc.) Since I am currently attending University (I decided to go back to my B.A. after the 'tech collapse'), and because I dislike being a starving student, I am looking for small writing projects such as yours. I also hold a B.Sc. (Major in Computer Science), so I am definitely familiar with the web hosting industry in general. That said, I have also worked with a lot of 'newbies' in the past, and therefore know when not to spew out tons of confusing technobabble.

If you're interested, you can send me an e-mail to reece@ocis.net, or contact me on MSN Messenger via that address, and we can discuss your needs in more detail. I would definitely be willing to write up a description or two for you to review before we commit to anything.

Hope to hear from you soon;

-Reece
