Thought someone might be interested in http://www.sqlboard.org/sqlboard/ which I'm releasing under the GPL -

For more detail http://www.sqlboard.org/sqlboard/message.adp?forum_id=1&thread_id=1&posts=0&lmsg=1&date=990193827&ldate=990193827

This is not yet another php/mysql forum its intially in tcl/adp pages (for Aolserver) or php and database will be any of Postgresql, Interbase, Sybase, Oracle or DB2.
No MYsql version ever. This is for real RDBM's only.
Its very alpha software and the html is not so good yet but the html is templates so it's got nothing to do with the workings of it.

Not a bad board, but should this post be in the Software or Advertising forum...?

Well I thought about that a bit - but its not really web development or web hosting software and I don't make a single cent from the software, people looking in advertising would expect paid stuff in there - so I chose general.

No skin off my nose if it gets moved elsewhere.

Mmmm....... Bit debatable, but it can be left where it is right now.

It looks like an excellent start, but I wonder if you might be a bit too close to vB for comfort? I presume you've done a clean room iplementation?

I like it, I think everything looks like vbulletin, and I think blazeboard had the pm system before vbulletin, so thats square,

I hope it is a success
