Does any one have a script that can setup an account and resellers in CPanel? Something we can set all the options in for like resellers and it do it?

Making sure you click all the right options when setting up a reseller account is a pain in the butt.

I thought reseller accounts could easily be set up in WHM ?
Anyway, perhaps you consider to get one software like PHPManager which my previous provider got for me and its easy getting resellers through that.

Well yea its easy but if you messup and check the wrong thing you can give them as much as root to WHM. So looking for like a signup script that we can set what the reseller plan gets but all the little check boxes can be done by default or something besides what is in WHM as its kind of usless to..

You may want to look into www.nixt.org

I have never used it or had any experience so I can't give you any opinions but there have been numerous posts already.

Why dont you find the resellers center page in your whm tarball and edit the html to have all the proper checkboxes "checked" when the page loads, similar to a web based form that has the check-box pre-checked (youve seen em on mailing lists)

Then all you do is click the submit button at the bottom of the page.

Not sure of how great of a coder you are but thats what Id do.

To add, I am pondering similar, as well as a mod on the link that lists accounts to simply list all as i hate having to do that every time.

I would be happy to do that to an html page but I think all of whm stuff is encoded.. If I am wrong please let me know. I don't think any of its basic html, php, cgi or any thing that you can really edit is it?

Not sure about the whm skins but the cpanel themes are for the most part editable with a little thought and research on the <cpanel do this> and <cpanel do that> tags.

I dont know what the path to the WHM themes is ATM as I recently found the cpanel themes myself.

Im sure it is a fairly simple (relative) file that needs modified and should be fairly straightforward. Again i havent seen the theme code for WHM yet so who knows. Dont see why it would be allthat different from the cpanel themes though.

Vortech: someone on the cpanel forums did accomplish automated reseller setup but they didn't say how ;) I would be interested in knowing as well

You can set this up in "WHM" unless you do not have "WHM" then in that case yer not a certified reseller....
IMHO

Well all our CPanel's are own our systems so I guess you can call us a certified hoster not certified reseller.. :)

Being able to set the check boxes to what we need would be great and would work fine. But have been unable to do any thing with that page as it is hiden very well or just encoded.

yes, and I even tried to track down the master file to edit and when i did, it seems like it is nicely encrypted. Grrr. Perhaps I found the wrong location, but if anyone finds it, let me know.
