If you follow the link at the bottom of the main page for WHT advertising information, there is a link that will give you a free run of a showcase ad in the new directory. NO COST!

Will placement be first-come-first-serve forever? Will it be random placement like PSoft does to their resellers? Or will it be paid placement like some directories do? I'd prefer the last two over the first, of course, and the second over all of them. :)

Rob-
Some of the listings in the Shared category are showing up twice. Just wanted to bring this to your attention.

Thanks for the free advertising btw. :)

We are aware of the errors and will be launching Version 2 of the directory and back end late today.

Please bear with us as we make the necessary changes.

Wrong forum, ask one of the mods to move this to "Related Offers and Requests"

I just realized I submitted my text and forgot to count spaces. Should/can I resubmit once I get the denial notice?

I submitted one lastnight, and when entering my description it was too long the first time. While that is fine, I went ahead and trimmed it down. But without typing it in another program first and counting the characters it is sort of a guessing game. So I was wondering if you made the text box where we enter the description to be limited to the set amount of characters? This way when people type too much, they know it because they run out of space :)

But, I'm not sure if this method counts blank spaces or not.. but just an idea. Thanks for the opportunity for a freebie :)

I haven't had any denial or acceptance email for my ad. Perhaps I should submit again? This time under 255 characters. ;)

In another post made by headsurfer, until they update the script, no more submissions will be accepted/denied. In the original post this was expected to be done by friday evening, but it is not. So I would wait for the update to take effect, then we'll probably see more people being accepted and rejected again.

Actually I found it, it is in the very top topic in this forum:

We should have the majority of the changes done by Friday afternoon. In the mean time, we will not be approving additional ads until we have it sorted out.

We will also be limiting the number of ads in any one catagory and will be limiting the free ads to two or three catagories.

Also, the new version of Host Buzz will launch Friday afternoon.
