Follow-up... as some of you know, I put a server in Weinbar a few weeks ago for http://www.esnipe-west.com/ -- Things have been great there so far.

Based on recommendations from members of this form, we went with Pegasus (PWEBTECH) for the east-coast site. The server is going out today and should be racked in the morning (EST).

It is a 1U co-located server.... custom 1U systems I put together.

So far Pegasus (Jason) has been great to work with. My only complaint is their lack of written web pages on co-location...we have had to go back forth via email many times to get questions answered. The answers have mostly been great, just that I hate to spend so much time on basic questions :)

I'll later report how the site performs... with comparison to Weinbar. The www.esnipe.com site has automated software and keeps extensive records on network problems....

Hopefully by end of next week we will be going with our live (MISTUS) automatic failover and load-balancing.

First follow-up...

Server was racked fine, minor delays, but had it up and running within 3 hours of the time UPS delivered it...

We haven't put users on our server (co-located) yet, but we have been monitoring and testing the network... looks good so far!

I got a server from Pegasus and the service has been great. Thanks to Jason the questions are answered on time and with a personal touch :)
