We are in the final stages of releasing an alternative control panel to Cpanel/Webhost Manager which will have at least the same features initially, and possibly will also integrate billing and support ticket functionality into the server. We need to know what the interest will be before we proceed much further, and want as much input as possible from web hosts and dedicated server/co-location providers so that we can release a product that everyone will be happy with. We plan to make migration from Cpanel/Webhost Manager easy by running a script, and the average end user will probably not notice much of a difference in the accessibility of the software.

We're looking at charging on a monthly basis, at a lower rate than the current Cpanel pricing, but those plans are subject to change. Discounts will be available for multiple licenses, and site licenses (an entire data center) may also be available.

So, what I'm hoping to get here is suggestions from people in the industry, so we can create a product that will include the features that everyone is looking for in a Cpanel/Webhost Manager replacement.

You're a FreeBSD fanactic like myself, have you tried/used Webmin.

Initially, we will support Redhat 6.x, but we certainly will try to make it compatible with as many operating systems as possible.
