Hi everyone!

IntraHost is in need of a new slogan/motto/tag line.

Right now its: intrahost - power for your website

but we are looking and have the option to change that. Any ideas? We came up with these:

intrahost - the power to create
intrahost - bright ideas for a bright future
intrahost - enabiling the ecommerce for the future
intrahost - the guys behind the dot com
intrahost - internet services within reach
intrahost - the power to achieve
intrahost - when you mean to show the very best
intrahost - connecting the world
intrahost - solutions for the web enabled business
intrahost - web enabling the world
intrahost - for those hard to reach places

Thanks so much for any help, and if we really like your slogan idea and use it, we may give a a $10 Amazon.com gift cert... but thats not a gaurentee, you have to be realllly nice to us. :)

I have enough trouble coming up with my own slogans.. but after reading your list, here are a few that came to mind:

intrahost - the other white meat
intrahost - your way, right away
intrahost - where do you want to go today?
intrahost - it's whats for dinner
intrahost - Buy 10 CDs for the price of one with nothing more to buy... ever!

This is all in good fun... you may want to be more original :D

Personally, I liked "for those hard to reach places" just because it is the most unusual, not something you'd normally associate with web hosting. the rest of the batch sound like every other dotcom/hightech company's slogan (except for the one based on Hallmark's slogan), and you don't want to get confused with another company...

We are reworking our company's slogan right now "Internet business solutions that work." says absolutely nothing about us. Our humorous one (and we did some special coffee mugs with that slogan)was "Internet business solutions that don't suck."

We are working with a marketing consultant and his advice to us is to start with the one thing about your company that you feel is your strongest point. Whether it's your low prices, good value, high uptime, good customer service, whatever you think is the #1 reason someone should choose your business over your direct competitors.

Once you've determined that, you can turn it into a catchphrase, remembering KISS (Keep it simple and stupid). it should be the main message of your marketing.

Consider the first rule of marketing: Customer perception is market reality

Marketing is mind control, pure and simple. What customers believe about your company/product/service is reality to them-until something happens that causes them to wake up to the truth. We've seen that with the companies offering 'unlimited' bandwidth and then charging steep overage fees. :sickface:

Marketing can be a dangerous weapon in the wrong hands, it can lead to false expectations, so use it wisely, young Jedi. :D

Think about your target market, who are they, what will appeal to them, or strike a familiar chord with them. Is humor appropriate? Should you be more conservative? A statement or a question?

I thought this was good too but did a trademark search and found that JASC owns it. visit www.jasc.com, haha, its big and bold right at the top. :) oh well, back to the drawing board.
