i went with olm for a couple months and was not happy. they look great on paper but i fact they are really amateur, they make so many mistakes, they are not customer oriented. they are cheap tho so if you are a beginner and are willing to put up with some hassles and dont need too much cooperation from your host then its ok.

otherwise look around moew

The reviews for HostWay don't look very favourable, I've heard they charge a very big rate for extra bandwidth should you go over the define limit, a whopping $50 PER GIG (industry average is around $5).

that's the first negative post about OLM I have read.

I'm with Hostway, and I have the Gold Plan. It's great! The Control Panel is very easy to use, and the MyMail web-based email system is simple and nice. There has not been ONE single downtime since I signed up 6 months ago. I really do have 24/7 access to my site because the FTP and SSH servers are never down. The only bad thing about Hostway is that they don't respond to some Trouble Tickets sent through the control panel.

I'd give Hostway a try. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee, and if you want to cancel anytime after that, all you have to do is fill out a form. It takes about 24-48 hours for them to cancel and they make it really easy for you to transfer.

I was hosting with OLM before, and they were good. Now I am a host, so I use my own servers, but as the other message, I have never seen a bad reply about OLM before,, or at least for a real long time.

I have almost 100 resold accounts through OLM. I've had to contact them about every situation/question under the sun on behalf of my clients over the past year and I want to say they are 100% dedicated to their clients. Their services are excellent and as a result I have not lost ONE single client. I'm pretty independent and provide 95% of my clients customer support needs and tech support needs myself. When I've needed them for the other 5% they have always been there and took care of it while on the phone with me. I wouldn't switch if someone paid me to switch.

Have to agree with the past couple of posts. Everything I've seen about OLM/Webaxxs indicates that they're amongst the tops in providers.

I was hosted with webaxxs.net. Great service, performance, and support. Definietely not amateur. One of the larger hosts out there. Probably host more resellers at olm than indv. clients. I would recommend them. I didn't switch because of a problem.
