Even when I'm a United fan I must say that the match was really great and Liverpool played well - at least Babbel did :)

I wanted revenge on liverpool cause they won the fa cup from my ARSENAL!!! alaves should of won, and they were definetly the underdogs, a club from 4th division in spain :(

They were a divison 2 side 4 years ago. They have had 2 other periods in the Preimera liga but they were in the 30's and 50's.

They werent really the under dogs since they had knocked out Inter Milan by winning at the Milan any team that can do that are not underdogs.

But Technics take into mind that michael owen is worth more then the whole club together with its players. Their stadium only takes 10,000 capcity, they have 5million to spend a year only..

Guess thats why they bought Jordi then :)

I just watched the full reply of the match, and I havta say, that was one of the best matches I've ever seen. Absolutely astonishing.

Makes you wish you were at the free-flowing games 30 years back.

Oh yes the games 30 years back :) there was no such thing as defence then :) Jordi is no where as good as his father and i doubt hes worth more then 3million USD
