DRNet IRC Network - IRC.DRIRC.NET

Welcome, I have recently been trying to start a FREE Public IRC Network with a few friends, the network is growing in popularity and new users are joining daily. We currently have an average of 50 Users Online and the network can support thousands.

We have 3 Dedicated Servers running the chat network and would like to allow the general public to use the network.

If you would like to join, you may register your nickname and create your own channels, or simply join in the community on the existing channels.

To connect to the network simply follow the instructions below:

1) You will need an IRC client. If your on windows, we recommend that you use mIRC. Download it from www.mirc.com. Download it, install it, and run it.

2) When you run it you will see a mIRC Options window. Type in your full name, email address (you dont have to put your real info), nickname, and alternative nickname.

3) Close the mIRC Options by clicking "OK" at the bottom.

4) In the Status window, type this in and hit enter: /server irc.drirc.net

5) now type /list for a list of the available channels
