If you have a credit card there will be no problems. :) Hostking 05-16-2001, 08:06 PM Praveen, You should talk to Matra (run a search for him in the member section) as he is from India as well. I would bet he can offer some good insights into how to do business in India via the Internet. LOL anyway, good luck in finding a host, and welcome to WebHostingTalk™ Forum edude 05-16-2001, 08:59 PM Jman your from kuwait? (inta meen kuwait?) Well i'm from iraq, your friendly neighbour :) (living in Australia for 14 years, was in mosul iraq before) matra 05-16-2001, 09:35 PM Hi Praveen, Welcome to the forum :) All depends on what kind of hosting, the client base and what will be the web traffic. There are some big providers such as Satyam, Dishnet, Mantra, VSNL as well as the newer entrants such as Cyquator. these people have better infrastructure and are more generally more reliable. The downside is the expense and sometimes inadequate bandwidth from their datacenters to the internet backbones. About the others, I will not be able to recommend any of them. If many of your sites are going to have significant number of visitors from outside India, you would do better to host it elsewhere such as the US/Canada/UK/Singapore/HK. The costs are also likely to be lower. Once the new internet backbones are in place, things are expected to improve significantly. For example Dishnet and Bharti are already working on laying lines of total 6.5 TB each connecting their Chennai centers with direct backbone connectivity. If you are more specific about requirements, I will be able to guide you better. Cheers, Matra jman 05-17-2001, 03:29 AM well, this trun to be the international Page ;-) Keaf Al Hal Hostexp.
