I saw this post from Gene : http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=109598 and I didn't feel comfortable advertising almost identical setup in his thread.

My company originally got me a T1 from home to monitor our datacenters and they decided that the reliability for a T1 is much higher.

The only differences from Gene's post are :

- This line is from Qwest
- We can assign up to a /24 to my home (253 usable IP addresses). It was originally designed for a failover but we no longer need it for that purpose.
- There are two racks here (one is half is used) using APC power (2000 kVA and 3000kVA).
- There is only one server and my 2 laptops using the line. The server is used to run a ping every minute.
- The line was down once for 3 hours. (This was 2 years ago.)
- I am in West Los Angeles
- I can provide you with a managed firewall if need be.
- I work (majority of the time) from home and usually I am either here or at the office (5 minute walk).
- MRTG graphs can be provided.

Please test with the following IP: 63.236.161.1

And like Gene.... not looking to get rich, we just have a lot of bandwidth here that I am not using. Any ideas on how much this is worth?

If you are interested, PM here and someone will get it to me or call me directly at 310-826-5359 x811 (9-5 PST).

Thanks.
